Dr. Marc Spencer

 Dr. Marc Spencer has devoted his 35-year career to impact organizations that advance racial justice and equity. He is particularly adept at fundraising, designing & scaling programs and leading organizations through growth and change. 

Dr. Spencer has a rich history of community and board involvement. He currently serves on the boards of Culture Shifts Labs, Evergreen Lodge, and Rush Creek Lodge & Resort. He has been an adviser for the Aspen Institute and served on the boards of Consol USA, National Youth Employment Coalition, Social Enterprise Alliance, City of San Francisco Youth Council, Oakland Workforce Investment Board, Commonwealth Club, Summer Search, and the Museum of the African Diaspora. 

He is a 2x CEO of national nonprofits and has raised over $200 million dollars for charities. He is known as a thought leader in youth development, workforce development, and financial education. 

Dr. Spencer holds an Ed.D. and an MA in Education from the University of San Francisco, and a BA in Anthropology from UCLA.
